AIAC have a team of highly dedicated and professional aircraft engineers. They are responsible for keeping our fleet well maintained and have a safety first attitude. Maintenance facilities are located onsite at the Port Macquarie Airport Campus. See a short clip of our engineers assembling the very first DA40-NG to arrive in Australia.

Safety checks are undertaken by our own maintenance crew before each training session. This to ensure our aircraft are in good working order before our students hit the sky. We follow stringent routine maintenance checks and servicing on all our aircraft as per the manufacturers specifications. We also hold a vast array of spare parts on location to help reduce servicing time and maximise flying time.

Dealing with engine failures are all part of your training at AIAC. The integrated training programs cover procedures for many abnormal flight situations and these can be simulated in a safe environment by highly skilled Instructors.

In the rare event that a Diamond aircraft does suffer engine failure, they are excellent gliding machines, allowing the pilot to maintain control of the aircraft and aim for a safe and smooth landing.
