We operate one of the youngest and safest training fleet in Australia.
Having introduced new Diamond Aircraft to our fleet, we’ve taken every step to provide our trainee pilots with the latest technology available.
We’ve also invested in a next-generation DA40/42 Diamond Flight Simulator, so our cadets can develop their practical skills and confidence as much as possible before they commence flying.
All of our students have the opportunity to refine their skills using our Flight Training Device (FTD) otherwise known as a “Simulator”.
Our FTD is fully certified by CASA (Level 5 FTD) and is equipped with 3 laser projectors providing 200 x 40 degree High Definition screens.
It has a fully equipped Garmin G1000 cockpit and is designed to mimic the DA40-NG and DA42-NG in every way.
A sleek and highly aerodynamic airframe, fast cruise speeds with less fuel burn, and amazing visibility make the DA20-C1 a joy to fly.
The DA20-C1 comes with a Garmin G500 Glass Cockpit and state-of-the-art interior and is rated for “Spin” training.
Manufactured in 2013, the DA20-C1 is one of three aircraft types used by trainee pilots undertaking their Diploma of Aviation – Commercial Pilot Licence (Aeroplane).
With a max cruise speed of over 280km/h, long max range of 984nm, high crosswind capability and precision handling, the DA40-NG is a superb aircraft to train in, and is one of three aircraft types used by trainee pilots undertaking their Diploma of Aviation – Commercial Pilot Licence (Aeroplane).
Manufactured in 2015, the DA40-NG comes equipped with the Garmin G1000 glass cockpit with wrap-around canopy, providing four seat comfort and safety. The G1000 incorporates the latest features including the ultra precise GFC700 Automatic Flight Control System.
With its panoramic wrap-around canopy, the DA42-NG offers exceptional visibility. The fully integrated G1000 flight deck comes with a 3-axis GFC700 AFCS, Yaw damper and Electronic Stability & Protection.
The 170hp turbo-charged Austro AE300 engine — combined with exceptional aerodynamics — allow the DA42-NG to reach a top cruising speed of just over 350kph.
For those studying the Diploma of Aviation – Instrument Rating , you’ll have the pleasure of flying in one of our new generation, twin engine Diamond DA42-NG aircraft.
